Robert J. Lloyd

Robert J. Lloyd, age 85, died Tuesday Nov. 11 at Heartland of Beavercreek in Beavercreek, Ohio. Bob was born in Tacoma on August 31, 1929.

Bob’s parents, Cecil and Mollie (Kanzler), moved when he was an infant to a wheat farm in Ralston, where Bob grew up attending Ralston Elementary School and graduated from Ritzville High School in 1946.

Bob went on to earn a degree from Washington State University in 1951.

That same year he married Eleanor Borgens, daughter of Henry and Emma (Kiesz) Borgens of Ritzville, and entered commissioned service with the United States Air Force. His long military ca...
