The Ritzville Museum Volunteers held a dedication at the Depot on, Oct. 18 to thank the many volunteers who contributed to the installation of the semaphore signal.
L.R. Keith took the microphone to list the number of steps required to install the signal, which is the original type used when the train station was in operation.
On Oct. 15 a “thank you” coffee was held at the Dr. Frank R. Burroughs’ Home to honor the more than 40 volunteers who staff the Depot and doctor’s home museums during the summer months.
Della Kiesz and Pete Collard were honored as the 2014 Volunteers of the Year.
