Nearly 60 people attended the Justin Clouse Memorial Bench Dedication at the end of October to honor and remember former Sprague student, Justin Clouse.
Justin was killed in the line of duty in June.
Justin’s parents Rob and Tina attended the ceremony, as did several other members of his family.
His brother Roger spoke on behalf of the family during the ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony, students of Sprague and Lamont schools attended an introduction ceremony for the bench, where they were informed on the importance and significance to the addition at the school. Students and teachers had the opportunity to speak and talk about the bench and Justin.
Sprague High School student Charleen Porter then spoke and showed a video of Justin that she produced.
The bench currently sits outside of the entrance to Sprague High School, and it was built and engraved by Ned Inge. Financial donations of individuals and businesses led to the completion of the project.
