Lady Broncos’ season comes to a close during regionals

The Lady Broncos finished their season in the regional tournament on Saturday, Nov. 8, while competing for a position in the state tournament.

They started their day facing the Colfax Bulldogs.

Head Coach Galbreath said that in order to beat Colfax the Broncos would need to play their best and hope Colfax would not be playing at their best.

The Bulldogs would take the match in three sets, beating the Broncos 25-16, 25-14 and 25-14.

Though the score did not reflect it, Galbreath said, the Broncos would play the match very cleanly, sustaining long rallies against the Bulldogs.
