Beverly Jean Lewis Sitton

Beverly Jean Lewis Sitton, 77, died Nov. 7, in Colfax. She was born December 23, 1936 in Spokane to Harvey William and Elva Lucile Dyer Lewis. She married Benjamin Otis Sitton on December 12, 1954; together they shared 59 blessed years.

They raised their four children on the family farm in Washtucna. Their children are: Ben (Debbie) Sitton, Debbie (Dan) Marshall, Jeff (Judy) Sitton and Mike (Linda) Sitton. Beverly celebrated the birth of 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

She served the Lord by being a faithful wife to Bennie and assisting him on the farm. She raised her children in a Christian home; showing them by example how to serve others and love the Lord Jesus Christ. Beverly was a Sunday school teacher, bible school teacher and preschool teacher in Washtucna. Beverly, Mom, we thank you for a lifetime of loving us: your husband, children, grand and great grandchildren and friends. Thank you for being faithful to your calling. Well done thou good and faithful servant.

Funeral services will be Saturday November 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Washtucna Community Church and followed by burial at Pioneer Cemetery in Washtucna. Memorials are suggested to: Alzheimer’s Association or Washtucna Community Church. Danekas Funeral Home-Ritzville is entrusted with arrangements.
