Applications available for car club scholarship

Applications are now available for the Ritzville Classic Car Club’s Paul Simonson Memorial Scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Candidates must be a full time student with accumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher at Lind-Ritzville High School, Sprague High School or Washtucna High School at the time of the application.

The student must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited educational or training institution studying Auto Mechanic Technology, Diesel Mechanic Technology or a related field. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student to be used for tuition,...
