The History of The Star Spangled Banner

The familiar melody of The Star Spangled Banner is played for many different occasions at many different times, however always with the same intensity and sincerity.

Each time the anthem is strummed, hummed or sung, it is celebrating American patriotism and reinforcing the values of persistence that hold true to the county’s core.

On November 6th at Lind-Ritzville High School’s annual Veterans Day assembly, the National Anthem will receive special recognition and due respect since it celebrated its bicentennial anniversary this last September.
