LRS cross country runners prep for state championship

Lind and Ritzville have had a long history of success in the athletic competitions throughout the state.

In football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track and baseball students from the area have always been a force to be reckoned within athletic competitions.

The two members of the newest team for the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos are no different.

Tracey Melville and Heidi Hennings are staged to compete in the State Championship race on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Hennings began running Cross Country last year to stay in shape for track rather than playing volleyball.
