Igniting interest in science

Lind-Ritzville Middle School hosted its Community Science night on Tuesday, Oct. 14, with Alexe Heimke, Education Coordinator for the Mobius Science Center, putting on a display of chemistry for community members.

In one of the demonstrations, she performed the “Swoosh, Fwoosh, Ahhhh” where she ignites flammable gasses trapped inside of the water jug.
