Former employer endorses candidate

I am proud to recommend Carolyn Benzel for Ritzville District Court Judge. She has the work ethic, judicial temperament, and common sense that will make her an outstanding Judge.

I hired Carolyn as a deputy prosecutor shortly after she graduated from law school. I saw first hand what a hard worker she is and how smart she is.

I was even more impressed with how she treated people, because of that she earned respect from Judges and other lawyers as well as earning thanks from victims of crime.

Because of her outstanding work she earned a major promotion after only two years on the job.

She was one of the top deputy prosecutors we have ever had and I was selfishly sad to see her leave our office but understood that her correct life priorities caused her to leave our office to be closer to family.

I have kept in contact with Carolyn since then and know that she still retains that outstanding work ethic and common sense that will make her a great Judge
