Lady T-cats fall to Pomeroy in league match

The Lady Tigercats faced the Pomeroy in Kahlotus on Thursday, Sept. 25, and were handed a league loss from the Lady Pirates. The LWK team fell in three sets with scores of 15-25, 10-25 and 14-25.

Head coach Sandy Martin said the Lady Tigercats had a solid night passing, but struggled with the serving percentage. The team remained consistent on serve receive, which allowed them to remain competitive with Pomeroy.

Martin said Pomeroy is an all around team with four solid hitters and a talented setter. The combination of talent proved too much for the Lady Tigercats.
