Undersheriff pledges support for Benzel

I am excited to write this letter in support of my friend and colleague, Carolyn Benzel, candidate for the position of the Ritzville District Court Judge.

I began my career here with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in 1997 and through the years have witnessed many disappointments within our Justice system. I truly feel that our community has a great opportunity this election season, to have a candidate, Carolyn Benzel, who is ready and willing to take on the important responsibilities of District Court Judge and is committed to improving our justice system.

I have known Carolyn on a professional level for approx. eight years. I have worked on numerous cases over the years with her and the results have been fantastic. I know her work ethic, she is dependable and ready to work. Carolyn has a great desire to assist our community with the future of our justice system.

Carolyn has a proven ability to prosecute serious offenders with sound and fair judgment. I have complete confidence in her ability to make ethical decisions with clear and concise consideration of facts while on the bench. Her demonstrated knowledge of the legal system is complete and ongoing.

I know that when elected, Carolyn will work hard to ensure that the Ritzville District Court will progress forward in becoming a strong asset to the Adams County Justice system.
