Voter information night Oct. 8

A Voter Information Forum for Adams County is being planned at which community members can learn of four matters of concern for voters in the general election. The forum is sponsored by the Ritzville Branch of AAUW and will be held at the Ritz Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m.

Questions from the public may be submitted no later than October 3 to [email protected]. Questions should be directed to a certain issue, race, or candidate. Questions to be considered must be signed.

The candidates for three races will participate in the forum. The contests are as follows: Adams County District Court Judge, incumbent Adalia Hille and Carolyn Benzel; Adams County Commissioner District 3, incumbent Jeffrey Stevens and Jessie “Weno” Dominguez; and the U. S. Representative for Congressional District 4, Dan Newhouse and Clint Didier.

Gary Bostrom, CEO/CFO of East Adams Rural Hospital will also present information on the upcoming bond issue.

The date of the forum is within the final week of the election campaign, with ballots being mailed to voters in the week following.
