Lady Tigercats defeat Touchet in league match

After suffering a league loss to Colton last week, the Lady Tigercats earned the first league win of the season against Touchet on Tuesday, Sept. 23, in Washtucna. The Lady Tigercats also competed in the Waitsburg-Prescott Tournament on Saturday.

During the Tuesday match against Touchet, the Lady Tigercats struggled at the beginning of the match to get in a rhythm and match Touchet’s tempo. The team came out slow, head coach Sandy Martin said, and after regrouping at the end of the set, the team performed well the remainder of the match.
