The Lady Broncos traveled to Burbank last Thursday, Sept. 18, to take on the Coyotes.
The Broncos lost the match after three close sets losing 25-22, 25-19 and 25-23.
Coach Cari Galbreath said Columbia-Burbank has always been good competition and the teams are usually well matched. Some of the LRS hitters had an off night.
Mallory Kessler had a strong game for the Broncos, scoring five kills and six aces.
Galbreath said the team took away how important it was to keep energy level up and how vital communication is to doing that.
