Joanne A. Mills

Joanne Actor Mills of Omaha died on Wednesday, Sept. 17 in Omaha at the age of 80.

Joanne was born on February 27, 1934 in Spokane and raised in the Eastern Washington farming communities of Ritzville and Connell. She attended Washington State University in Pullman and graduated from San Jose State University in California.

Joanne worked at the University of Washington in Seattle and later at General Electric in Richland where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Bob Mills. Bob and Joanne were married on August 20, 1962. They soon departed Joanne’s beloved eastern Washington as Bo...
