Cub Scouts hosting ice cream social

The local Cub Scouts organization is inviting any male youth to join the club. The first pack meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall.

The meeting is hosted as an ice cream social and is expected to last an hour.

Registration to become a Cub Scout is based on age. Any first grade student can become a Tiger Cub for $18, while the second grade Wolf Den group is $35 per student. Third grade students can join the Bear Den for $35, while fourth grade students can become Webelos for $35.
