A nondenominational Women’s Bible Study course is being offered in Ritzville beginning on Sept. 22.
The book for the course, “Lord, I Want to Know You,” is written by Kay Arthur and is based on a devotional study of the names of God.
The class is open to all women interested in participating in the 18-week journey.
The study courses are held on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. or on Tuesdays from 1–3 p.m. at the Ritzville Nazarene Church. The classes begin on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23.
The facilitator of the event is Amy Galbreath from the Ritzville Foursquare Church and Arthur will be teaching through video.
The course is based on finding and understanding God to help reduce everyday confusion and pain, and understand how God functions within everyday life. Studying the different names and terminology referencing God will help those in attendance have a way of finding comfort in hard times.
The nondenominational portion of the course allows all women in the area to discuss the importance of God in his name in their daily lives.
Arthur is one of America’s best known and most-beloved Bible teachers and authors.
With her husband, Jack, she is the co-founder of Precept Ministries International, the leaders in inductive Bible-study resources.
Arthur also reaches hundreds of thousands of people internationally through her “Precept upon Precept” inductive Bible studies.
In addition, she is known globally through her daily and weekly television and radio programs.
For those who plan to attend, leave a message for Galbreath at 659-0778.
Child care is offered with the Tuesday night courses if there is a need. A study book needs to be ordered for all participants and early registration is encouraged.
