EARH undergoes name change

With the need to license the previous Life Care Center of Ritzville facility under the hospital district, the Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners voted to change the name of the hospital, while preserving the acronym.

The board agreed to move to the title of East Adams Rural Healthcare, with Ross Heimbigner in opposition.

The board had been debating dropping the “rural” term out of the title all together, but based on feedback received from hospital personnel and the public present at the Aug. 28 board meeting, the board agreed to keep the acronym EARH.
