CEO Corner: Hospital CEO and LCC Executive Director address the acquiring of Life Care

At a special Hospital Board meeting August 14, 2014 the board agreed to accept the donation of Life Care Center of Ritzville, which includes land, buildings, equipment and supplies. It does not include computer systems, accounts receivable, debt, or liabilities.

We plan that all current staff will be employed by the district and all current residents will continue to reside at the nursing facility. We are working together to assure a smooth transition.

We see positive integration of services between both facilities, which gives us the ability to work as a larger team in the community. With the combined talent in both facilities it will make one stronger organization.

We assure you we will continue to provide high quality care by developing an integrated health system for our communities.
