City Dog Pound conditions questioned

At the regular meeting of the Ritzville City Council on Aug. 5 the conditions of the City dog pound were brought before the council.

Kris Lennon described the conditions that she found at the City Dog Pound during her examination of the facility.

She reported that temperatures inside the shelter were sweltering, reaching to 100 degrees inside the building. She also reported that during the winter the facility has very limited climate control to keep dogs from getting cold.
