Volunteers needed for Ice Cream Booth at WLCF

The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce needs volunteers for its annual ice cream booth at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair. Volunteers are needed to fill shifts during the four-day event.

This year at least one volunteer per shift is required to have their food handlers’ permit.

The permit course is taken online and does not require much time. Individuals can contact the Chamber for more information about food handler’s cards.

Those interested in volunteering should contact Virginia Jones at Columbia Bank at 659-0223. Donations are also being accepted.

Donations can either be delivered to Jones at Columbia Bank at 201 West Main Avenue or can be mailed to the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce at P.O. Box 122, Ritzville, WA, 99169.
