Dick L. Tesch died on July 5 in his home in Washtucna at the age of 80.
He was born in Ritzville on April 12, 1934, to Eddie and Ida Tesch.
He served in the U.S. Navy where he was a Machinist Mate on the USS Brinkley Bass. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking and traveling.
Dick was always there to help fix anything for anyone.
You always knew it would be fixed right if he repaired it. He was loved by many and will be truly missed by all.
Dick was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Tesch, who he was married to for 44 years, and his siblings Harold, Agnes, Eddie, and Louise.
Survivors are: his children: Carol, Darla, Tom, and Cindy; and his current wife Irene with two step children. Dick also has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 18, at Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville from noon to 5 p.m.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at Pioneer Cemetery in Washtucna and followed by a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. at the Washtucna Grange Hall.
