Going Home

When my friends and I were growing up we certainly did love to play sports. The goal was to win, of course but just playing games was fun with your buddies. I think we all had those distant thoughts of playing in front of a lot of Bronco fans on the weekends like our heroes were doing.

We would watch pro football, basketball and baseball on TV and we all had our favorite players to cheer for. I’m sure that some of us had a passing thought or two to play at the professional level. But then we had to realize that those chances are slim and none and Slim usually had a head start out of town.
