9 a.m. until noon – Team/vendor set-up
11:45 a.m. – Registration opens (Teams check in: survivors pick up sash, shirt and balloon)
Noon – Opening Ceremony: American Cancer Society message, sponsor recognition, invocation.
Noon – National anthem, posting of the colors
12:15 p.m. – Survivor Ceremony/Survivor Lap
12:30 p.m. – Parade of teams
12:30 p.m. – Survivor’s Luncheon, Gilson Gymnasium
1-6 p.m. – Grateful to be Alive Block Party (sponsored by Ritzville Drug Company, Hometown Family Medicine and The Journal)
GAMES: Painted water fight, bounce house, inflatable twister, dunk pond, frozen t-shirt contest,
pie in the face, knock ‘em down, snack toss, water pong.
1-6 p.m. – Themed laps
LAPS: Scavenger hunt, sack races, limbo, poker, bingo, balloon race, cake walk, three-legged race
6:30-8 p.m. – Minute to Win It contest
GAMES: Tear it up, ready spaghetti, junk in the trunk, face the cookie, cup stack.
9 p.m. – “Miss”Ter Relay
10:15 p.m. – Crowning of 2014 “Miss”Ter Relay
10:30 p.m. – Luminaria Ceremony
11:15 – Memory Lap to collect special luminaria
11:30 p.m. – Awards Ceremony
11:30 p.m. – All donations turned in
11:45 p.m. – Closing Ceremony (announcement of the team with the highest earnings and total dollars raised to fight cancer)
Midnight – Event concludes, clean up
