On June 7, nine LaCrosse seniors walked across the stage to receive their high school diploam and take the first step at pursuing careers.
The graduating LaCrosse seniors were awarded a total of $29,355 in scholarship money during the daytime ceremony at the LaCrosse School gymnasium
Being led by class valedictorian Graham BeDell, the students’ awards are as follows.
BeDell received the Valedictorian award, Torgeson Memorial Award, Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award, the Kelli Schapenberg Memorial Scholarship, Community Club Scolarship, the Certificate of National Service for AmeriCorps and the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Award.
Brandon Bennett received the LaCrosse Masnic Scholarship and the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation award.
Stephen Erickson received the LaCrosse Scolarship Foundation award.
Joey Guske received the All Star Classic Games Scholarship, the Clemente Barbershop Scholarship, and the Lacrosse Scholarship Foundation Award.
Lindsey Miller was awarded the LaCrosse High School Athlete of the Year Award, Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete award, the All Star Classic Games Scholarship, the Richard L. Roberts Memorial Scholarship, Urgel and Virginia Bell Scolarship and the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Award.
Riley Roberts received the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Award.
Darcy Stamper was awarded LaCrosse High School Athlete of the Year and the LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation Award.
Kadie Whinery also received the LaCrosse Masonic Scholarship and he LaCrosse Scholarship Foundation.
During the ceremony, the Class of 2014 presented the LaCrosse Community Award to Julie Roberts for her committment to the school, students and community.
