The 2014 LaCrosse Farmers Festival will begin Friday, June 20, and run until Sunday, June 22.
The Festival kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday with a barbecue at the LaCrosse High School Cafeteria followed by the Mr. LaCrosse contest in the LaCrosse High School Pit at 7 p.m.
The Pastime Tavern will feature a live DJ, High Voltage Disco, Friday and Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Cover charge is $3 for a single ticket and $5 for couples.
Saturday, June 21, kicks off at 8 a.m. with vendors in the park and breakfast at the Grillbilly Café. The Quilt Show begins at 9 a.m. until noon at Pins and Needles on Main Street.
The Senior Car Wash, Silent Auction, and Parade Late Registration all begin at 9 a.m. as well. The car wash will be held at the bus barns and the Silent Auction at The Gathering Place.
Parade Late Registration will be at the Scale House and at 9:30 a.m. the Parade Line-up will begin there.
The Kiddies Parade will line up at 10 a.m. next to the LaCrosse Post Office. The Grand Parade steps off at 10:30.
The United Methodist Church will be hosting a Rummage Sale from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. as well as a hotdog and chili feed.
From 11 a.m. to noon, the chalk art contest occurs on the Football Field Sidewalk.
At 12 p.m. in the City Park there will be Pit Barbeque Sandwiches, desserts and coffee for sale, and the live band Cross Country.
Outhouse Races start at 12:30 p.m.
The City Pool will have free swimming 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
At 1 p.m. in the City Park there will be a Money and Prize Scramble followed by kid races on the Football Field at 1:30.
The three-on-three basketball tournament starts at 2:30 p.m. on the Elementary Tennis Courts.
Grillbilly Café will be sponsoring a “Main Street” Barbecue 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. followed by the Wine and Stein 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lacrosse Community Club Building.
