Ben W. Sitton, 58, died suddenly on May 25. He was born in Spokane on June 27, 1955, and lived much of his life in Washtucna.
Ben was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Washtucna High School in 1974. He attended SCC in Spokane and spent 10 living and working in the Pullman area before returning home to farm, his true dream job.
He was a member of the Grange, Washtucna Alumni and was currently serving as a Washtucna Fire Commissioner.
Ben is survived by his wife Debbie Heil Sitton of 23 years; daughter Elizabeth Sitton; parents: Bennie and Beverly Sitton all of Washtucna; mother-in-law Phyllis Heil of Lind; a sister: Debbie (Dan) Marshall of Henderson, Nev .; brothers: Jeff (Judy) Sitton of St John and Mike (Linda) Sitton of Toledo, Wash .; sister Lori (Tom) Strohmaier of Lind; seven nieces and five nephews, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are scheduled at the Washtucna Community Church on Saturday, June 21, at 11 a.m. A private inurnment will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Washtucna.

Danekas Funeral Home and Crematory-Ritzville is entrusted with arrangements.
