Whitmore ends high school track career as state champion
Eight Broncos walked on the track for the opening ceremonies to represent the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track team during the 2B State Championship at Eastern Washington University.
The Broncos spent Friday and Saturday, May 30-31, racing against the best of Washington’s athletes.
Out of the gate, Ryan Whitmore secured a first place finish in the prelims of the 110-meter high hurdles. He maintained the top finish in the finals when he raced to secure the championship title.
