Public hearing set for Love’s annexation

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc., has submitted a petition to the City of Ritzville seeking annexation of its business into the city limits.

The city council will hold a public hearing on the matter on Tuesday, June 3, during a regular city council meeting that starts at 7 p.m.

The hearing is a mandatory step in the annexation process.

Love’s agreed to eventually be annexed when it entered into an agreement with the city for the extension of city utilities — water and sewer lines — outside of the city limits.
