The Ritz Theatre establishes office hours

The Ritz Theatre is continuing to work towards completing the renovations and improvements within the building, and has now established office hours for individuals to learn more about the project.

While the theatre has received tremendous support, the fundraising efforts are still about $30,000 from being able to purchase the digital projector necessary to show recently released movies at the theatre.

Within the next month, the theatre intends to being showing BluRay movies on the weekends, and will continue to host live performances on the stage within the building.

The theatre’s office hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon.

The office is located at the top of the building, and the door to the side of the box office will be open during office hours. The manager for the building is Abbie Kubik.

In the future, the theatre hopes to provide other events such as showing classic movies, using the big screen for online gaming, allowing rentals for private parties, hosting seminars and more.
