Commissioners fill county’s vacant economic development position

The Adams County Commissioners unanimously selected Stephen McFadden recently to fill the county’s Economic Development Analyst position beginning June 2, 2014.

McFadden, publisher of The Ritzville Adams County Journal, steps into the position vacated by the retirement of Roger Krug in August 2013.

During the past six months, county commissioners reviewed the position and modified it, making the role a management level position and bringing it under the direct supervision of the commissioners.
