Annual meeting for Museum Volunteers

The Ritzville Museum Volunteers are hosting the annual meeting at Memories Diner on May 13 at 10 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to begin planning for the summer at the local museums and ensure the museums are open for all to enjoy throughout the season.

The meeting is open to the public and coffee and rolls are provided. The meeting agenda also includes a presentation about the plans for the summer and exciting ideas for tour groups and visitors to the museums.

Calendars are available at the event for volunteers to sign up for the days they are able to volunteer this summer.

The Ritzville Museum Volunteers are also in need of volunteers to serve on the board and fill some vacancies. Elections for all of the offices will be held during the meeting, and nominations will be received during the event.

The current officers and board members are Gaynel Gering, president; Ann Olson, treasurer; Nancy Burke, Burroughs’ Home vice-president; Dottie Telecky, secretary; and Carol Becker, board member.
