LRS girls take second in league meet

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team traveled to the Quincy Invite on April 19.

The girls returned home with a third place finish, with the majority of points attributed to high placing in the short relays. The boys’ team finished 10th, with the top placements of the day earned by Ryan Whitmore, who secured first place in the hurdles races.

The Broncos return to the home track this week to host the 9th Annual Undeberg Invitational. The event is expected to draw over 500 athletes, and hundreds of spectators at the updated facility.
