WSU Extension slates open house

On Monday, May 12, the WSU Extension will host an open house from 1 to 7 p.m. in its new offices at 205 W. Main Avenue in Ritzville.

The event will be held in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Lever Act, which established Cooperative Extension Service.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable snack for “Weekend Backpacks” to combat hunger in local youth....
