4th Annual Tail Waggin’ Walk, Run

The Fourth Annual Tail Waggin’ Dog Walk and Fun Run to support Adams County Pet Rescue (ACPR) is scheduled for Sunday, April 27. Check-in and registration for the event is from 1-2 p.m. at the Zion Philadelphia Church of Christ.

Individuals who intend to run the race begin at 2 p.m., followed by walkers at 2:05 p.m. The approximate length of the course is 2.1 miles, and participants do not have to bring a dog to partake.

All registered participants are entered into a drawing, as are the dogs. There is also a biggest and smallest dog contest at the event.

The entry fee to participate in the race is canned dog or cat food. Water will be provided at the event, and a photographer will be on site to take pet photos.

ACPR has t-shirts available for purchase at the event for $20. For pre-order t-shirts, email [email protected] to place the order.

All of the funds from the event benefit ACPR. The Zion Philadelphia UCC is located at 301 East Broadway in Ritzville.
