The RDDA deserves thanks

Thank you John Rankin and the loyal RDDA volunteers who have worked together to update our local Theatre. It will remain a special place in our hearts and community.

You have put many hours into this project and renewed the Art Deco Theatre, created and maintained by people of Ritzville and the surrounding area.

Hopefully the funds will continue in to make it a complete theatre with a new age digital projection equipment. The project was welcomed by many of the people of the area on Saturday, March 22, as was the special show that was featured.

It was wonderful to hear the Crazy Horse Band and musical talent behind it, once again. The three women excel in harmony as they performed together. They sang of the rivers of Eastern Washington, of a woman who wove Pine needle baskets, of dancing to time through songs and poetry.

Maybe next year they can sell enough tickets to have a houseful two nights of the week.

Thank you for restoring the theatre, a real treasure of Ritzville.
