Local singer Chelsey Heidenreich is currently on a release tour for her self-titled, acoustic album and is traveling back to her hometown this weekend to perform for one of the last times as a solo artist. Heidenreich is hosting a release party for her album at Cow Creek Mercantile on Friday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m.
Ritzville is Heidenreich’s third stop on her Spring Tour before she continues traveling throughout the state, with one additional stop in Portland, Ore.
Heidenreich explained the album is a stripped down version, with just her, a guitar and piano. She added it is her final album as a solo artist as she is now moving forward with her full band, Raze The City.
Raze The City is going to take songs from Heidenreich’s most recent album and add the instruments of the full band. Heidenreich said she is touring from March to September this year, before partaking in the Northwest Singer/Songwriter tour in July and August.
During this time, she will also be joining in a small set of acts with her band. In September, Raze The City will begin their first tour as a band.
“I am enjoying my new company, Fusion Booking and Management and also have signed on with a record label in New York (Parachuting Buddha Records) to help with my booking throughout this year,” Heidenreich said.
Heidenreich plans to perform tracks off of her new album and a small variety of other songs during the two-hour venue at Cow Creek Mercantile. Her album and other merchandise is available for purchase at the event, as well as on her website: http://chelseyheidenreich.com.
