Lady Broncos face must-win scenario

The LRS Lady Broncos are facing a must-win situation today as they play in a preliminary round of the sub-regional basketball tournament that involves teams from Districts No. 7 and No. 9.

They will play Tri-Cities Prep, the District No. 9 fourth seed at 5 p.m. at Waitsburg High School.

The Lady Broncos landed in the pinch when they lost by one point in overtime last Friday to St. George’s in the Northeast 2B League Tournament, 53-52.
