Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Five Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos were nominated for the East-West All-State football game this summer. Three of them have been selected to play in the game. The other two are alternates.
Dylan Hartz, Ryan Whitmore and Tyler Frederick will play in the game. Connor O’Neill and Jarradd Morley are alternates.
LRS head coach Greg Whitmore will serve as the co-head coach for the East, alongside Jim Wood, head coach of the 1A state champion Freeman Scotties.
Jason Aldrich will be the East Team Defensive coordinator. Freeman assistant coach Kelly Neeley is the East Team Offensive Coordinator.
Whitmore said the selection process was challenging. There were 102 nominees from 15 leagues. Only 37 players could be selected.
Each of the three LRS players must raise money to cover the expense of participating in the all-state game. They will be selling tickets for the game and advertisements in the all-state football program.
For more information about tickets or sponsoring the players, contact Whitmore at [email protected].
