President needs to make decision regarding oil

Most of us laugh at the antics of Toronto’s Mayor while Canada’s Foreign Minister pointedly complains that President Obama needs to give them an answer about Keystone. Canadians don’t understand how and why Obama keeps them in limbo on an issue whose merits were settled years ago.

Canada is committed to developing their priceless resource! We are their natural export partner and we have had good relations with them for many years. Crossing the border requires State Department approval so Obama must say yes or no.

When you deal with the petroleum there is always going to be risk! The State Department found no significant risk to Keystone after they moved the route so that it was not over the Ogalala Reservoir. President Obama didn’t want his decision to affect the 2012 election so he put it off.

Canada is not going to leave the oil in the ground so if he says no the pipeline will be pointed west and China will get the oil, that could take away OPECS power.

This is a chance to get free infrastructure that would be built by private money and it would produce shovel ready jobs!

It’s up to you Obama!
