Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The music departments at Lind and Ritzville Schools are again collecting Box Tops from now until Feb. 21. Box Tops are on a variety of products, and each Box Top collected is worth 10 cents for the music program.
All of the Box Tops can be delivered to music teachers Heidi Nygren, Susan Schafer and Jennifer York at the local schools, and each class has a bin to record who collects the most coupons. Each music teacher has a reward for the class collecting the most Box Tops. A drop off box is also located at Harvest Foods.
Box Tops can be collected throughout the year and given to the program when they coordinate the next drive in the fall. The coupons can be cut out and put into a Ziploc bag to be delivered to the school.
The money raised through the Box Top Drive benefits all of the music students within the Lind and Ritzville School Districts. The goals for the programs are to purchase performance equipment such as microphones, microphone stands and new speaker systems; classroom instruments and teaching props like classroom percussion, Orff instruments and Boom whacker equipment; and supplemental equipment such as song books, music games and season material.
E-Box Tops can also be redeemed at http://Boxtops4education.com, as well as a complete list of products that have Box Tops.
