Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Adams County Feb. 11 Special Election ballots have been tallied for citizens’ votes on Maintenance and Operation (M&O) levies and bonds for local school districts. With 2,039 ballots tallied, there are an estimated 275 ballots still left to be counted.
The Lind School District placed an improvement bond on the ballot with bonds for safety, energy efficiency and instructional technology improvements.
The bond, for the amount of $4 million for a 15-year collection, has passed with 69.18 percent of voters approving the measure.
