Barking Points: Valentines for Veterans drive begins

For some people, Feb. 14 is another routine day of the year. For many people, Feb. 14 is a chance to seize the moment, temporarily abandon any worries or inconveniences and express their feelings towards family and friends. For students at Lind-Ritzville Middle School, this Valentine’s Day will provide them with the opportunity to thank our nation’s bravest heroes and prove that our local veterans have special places in their hearts.

LRMS National Junior Honor Society’s school-wide Valentines for Veterans project will spread hope to injured veterans and inspiration to students this February.
