Bulldog News: Plenty of activities as Bulldogs are working hard

The Lind-Ritzville Middle School has some great programs and classes for students to participate in. Some of these are band, leadership class, ASB, Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Honor Society.

Some students in band recently made a poster for the LRMS band teacher, Mrs. Jennifer York’s, birthday. She was super surprised when she walked in her room!

York said, “It made my day.”

The band kids have also done a good job playing in the pep-band to support the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Bronco basketball players. They will be getting ready for marching band as we go into spring.

Mr. Jason Sanger’s Leadership class made a 12th Man poster to support the Seahawks on Friday. It was huge! Students in Sanger’s classes signed the poster to show their Seahawks spirit.

In Honor Society, the students have been working hard on their service projects for the school and community. Emma Aldrich is doing a pet food drive at the middle school. and Jack Anderson is selling eggs to the teachers for an organization that helps children in Haiti.

The ASB worked at the food pantry before Christmas and Mrs. Shanon Davis’ FCCLA students delivered cards to the Rose Garden and Life Care Center and cookies to the Ritzville and Lind Senior Centers.

Overall, the Bulldogs have been working hard and doing great things. Keep it up!
