NEW JUDGE SWORN IN

Steve Dixon was sworn in on Friday, Jan. 3, as the new Adams County Superior Court Judge. He was sworn in by Court Commissioner Richard Miller, who retired as superior court judge in 2012. Dixon had recently served as the Kitsap County Superior Court Judge prior to his appointment. Dixon was appointed to the position by Governor Jay Inslee to fill the vacancy created when Judge Brian Miller died following an extended battle with cancer. -Journal photo by Stephen McFadden
