Davis’ celebrating 70th anniversary

David and Betty Davis from Maple Valley, Wash., are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Jan. 29.

The celebration is being held at their assisted-living residence in Maple Valley on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 1-4 p.m.

The Davis’ were married on Jan. 29, 1944 in Lind.

David and Betty are the parents of Sue Ellen Johnson, Newcastle, Wash.; Richard Davis, Lind; Penny Delaunay, Brier, Wash.; Dixie Davis, Newcastle; and Priscilla Weaver, Monroe, Wash.

They also have 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren....
