RDDA receives $2,000 grant

The Ritzville Downtown Development Association has received a $2,000 grant from the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, through the Valerie Sivinski Washington Preserves Fund.

The grant funding is being used to restore and reconstruct the neon, along with the main marquee and awning at the Ritz Theatre.

The grant funds assist the community-led rehabilitation of the art deco theatre in downtown Ritzville, which is listed on Ritzville’s National Register-listed Historic District.
