Nov. 4, 7:51 p.m. – Ritzville complainant requested standby to ensure the peace on West Schoessler Road. Arrangements could not be made for the evening time and the complainant contacted the office in the morning hours of Nov. 5. Deputy Jeffrey Lane drove the male half to the residence where he collected his belongs and car without incidence. The male half was served a no contact order by the court and is aware he is not allowed on the property.
Nov. 4, 2:08 p.m. – Spokane Valley complainant reported her wedding ring had been stolen from the eastbound Schrag rest area.
Nov. 4, 10:50 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on May Avenue in Washtucna.
Nov. 4, 10:47 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on North Freese Road in Ritzville. Deputy Ned Bernath attempted to contact on Nov. 8 and on Nov. 9 made contacted with the listed subject for verification.
Nov. 4, 10:46 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on East First Avenue in Ritzville. Deputy Lane made contact with the subject on Nov. 5.
Nov. 4, 10:45 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on West Seventh Avenue in Ritzville. Deputy Lane attempted contact on Nov. 5, Deputy Bernath attempted contact on Nov. 7, and Bernath verified the address on Nov. 8.
Nov. 4, 10:43 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on West Clarence Street in Lind. Deputy Bernath attempted contact on Nov. 8 and an older adult female at the residence advised the listed subject has been returned to Deer Lodge for a violation.
Nov. 4, 10:41 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on East Broadway Avenue in Ritzville. Deputy Lane made contact on Nov. 5.
Nov. 4, 10:38 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s Office requested LI for sex offender address verification on East Fourth Avenue in Ritzville. Deputy Bernath attempted contact on Nov. 5 and on Nov. 7, the new tenants neighbors advised subject had not lived there since June.
Nov. 4, 10:25 a.m. – Sprague complainant advised of finding a deer hit by a car in the roadway on East Danekas Road. The complainant advised the deer was still alive and he dispatched it. Lincoln County and Fish and Wildlife were advised, as was the road department so the deer could be removed.
Nov. 4, 9:36 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a potential burglary that occurred early Saturday afternoon on North Batum Road. Complainant requested contact in the evening hours, and Deputy Lane contacted the residence.
Nov. 4, 12:15 a.m. – Ritzville Police Department requested agency assistance with a report of a subject being strangled at West First Avenue. Deputy Lane responded.
Nov. 3, 10:41 p.m. – Ritzville complainant reported a subject driving a red pickup who appeared to be nodding off on West First Avenue. Prior to Deputy Lane’s arrival, WSP Trooper Carmen Harrington found the vehicle and determined the driver was not impaired and was extremely tired. The driver was directed to find a place to sleep.
Nov. 3, 11:06 a.m. – Lind complainant advised of two male subjects riding bicycles and carrying rifles on East Lind-Ralston Road and North Stelzer Road. Deputy Bernath checked the area, and the subjects had gone prior to Bernath’s arrival in the area.
Nov. 2, 11:11 p.m. – Auburn complainant reported a verbal domestic dispute at the Schrag rest area. Deputy Lane determined no assault had occurred and both parties were given New Hope information. The parties left together and were told to call with any further problems.
Nov. 2, 10:56 p.m. – Deputy Lane advised over the radio at 9:59 p.m. that the railroad arms were down at the Neilson Road crossing in Lind. Burlington Northern Santa Fe was advised. An hour later, multiple Lind citizens advised the arms are stuck down or a train is stopped in the location. Burlington Northern Santa Fe was advised.
Nov. 1, 5:48 p.m. – Deputy Bernath was advised of a male subject assaulting his wife by trying to forcefully pull her into a vehicle on West Schoessler Road. The male subject was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and booked into the Adams County Jail.
Nov. 1, 4:43 p.m. – Odessa complainant advised of an abandoned vehicle on North Batum Road at the Batum Elevators. Deputy Lane checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.
