40th Holiday Bazaar slated for Dec. 7

Ritzville’s 40th Annual Holiday Bazaar, sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), is quickly approaching. The bazaar is held in the Ritzville Grade School gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Forty vendors from all over Eastern Washington are expected to be in attendance.

Sale items available at the event include Bronco apparel, pottery, candles, hand-sewn creations, toys, holiday decoration and baked goods. AAUW members are also selling Scholastic children’s books during the bazaar.

Santa Claus photos are also being provided at the event, but a vendor is still needed to take the photos.

Any individual interested in taking the Santa Claus photos is asked to contact event chairman Sherie Schafer.

Di’s Catering is supplying the lunch service for the event in the cafeteria. Also in the cafeteria, Charles Jingling is providing a model train display.

AAUW uses the funds raised from the baskets and the bazaar for women’s scholarships, both locally and nationally.

The Ritzville Grade School is located at 401 East Sixth Street.

Potential vendors can contact Schafer at 659-1424 or [email protected].
